Australian musical chameleons Furnace and the Fundamentals are celebrating the worldwide release of their brand new Christmas album A Very Furnace Christmas.

The band described as ‘humanity’s most exhilarating dance party’ have turned their talents to reimaginations of classic songs as Christmas time hits, featuring ‘YMCA’ and ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ amongst others – even turning their hands to Rage Against The Machine with the headbangingly upbeat ‘Giving In The Name Of.’

The new video clip for YMCA features the band dressed in Christmas garb, hamming it up for the camera and even conjuring Santa himself to come to the party.
Meanwhile, the video for the band’s hilarious yuletide take on Rage Against The Machine’s classic ‘Killing in the Name Of’ restyled as ‘Giving in the Name Of’ sees Furnace in full Christmas cracker attire leading us through a series of viral clips of seriously excited children at Christmas-present-opening time.

The band have spent the past few years building a reputation as the biggest party starters across Australia, the UK & Europe capping off huge summer tours which have seen them play to over 20,000 people at the Formula 1 in the UK, 45,000 at the Australian Super Rugby finals, headline London’s Electric Ballroom, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and NYE on the main stage at Lost Paradise Festival, NYE in the Park & the NYE on Sydney Harbour.

Now their incredible party-starting energy will blow the roof off homes celebrating Christmas across the world with a new edition available on digital, CD and LP formats – so put on your dancing stockings and throw out your old Christmas carol books – it’s Furnace Christmas time!
